About us...
Light, I use it to shape, sculpt, create a mood, accentuate, to create art.
Everyone deserves a great portrait. I want you to be excited with yours, nothing less!
Together we'll create images reflecting your personality, style and interests.
I've been a professional photographer since 1986. After graduating with a Degree in
Photography from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, I entered the commercial advertising field of
photography, gaining the valuable knowledge of creative lighting in the studio and on location,
composition, design and production. Skills, abilities and expertise that I bring to every session.
Designing your session...
Your session includes a consult where we will discuss the look you want and what you want.
Are we in the studio or on location? Looking for Framed Matted Prints ready to hang, a Gallery
Wrapped Canvas or Coffee Table Book? Will the pictures be edgy, laid back, fashion-styled,
moody or exotic? Including your sport, your hobby or your passions? Maybe you're after the
Retro-Look of a classic 1940's black & white. We all have a story to tell, what will you share?
Sessions include an hour of shoot time, the number of different outfits is up to you.
Need additional time to get in all your great looks or that last great location? No problem.
Sessions on Location...
Our locales or locations around your home gives you more ways to tell your story! Include your
car, your sport, pets, favorite hang-outs, cool old buildings or parks.
Prints and Products...
We offer everything from Gallery Wrapped 30x40" Canvas Prints, Albums, Coffee Table Books
to wallet specials, I can provide press printed products including; graduation invitations,
info cards, thank you cards, calendars and wall posters. The list is amazing!
No heavy sales pressure, arm twisting, or "seven different package specials".
You choose, you decide. It's that simple!
Retouching...
Included on all our final prints. If you have a particular concern, please mention it to me.
Clothing...
Clothing is an important factor to the success of your session. No, I don't mean you need to go
on a shopping trip! Fit is important, choose clothing that you will be comfortable in.
Solid colors are better than prints that can become too busy. Unsure, need some ideas for a
new look? Give us a call or check out some magazines. Better to bring more outfits than less.
The Zen-like Minimalist approach...
Quality and value together, what could be easier? Single outfit, one background, 30 minutes in
the studio, you choose your favorite at the end of the shoot. A great look, an 8x10, 24 wallets,
minimum fuss! Limited availability.
Final Selects...
Once we have the hand edited 24 to 30 selects ready, you come to the studio to view everything
on our 24" viewing monitor. You pick your favorites, we'll talk about what you are looking to
order and you'll make your choices. It's that easy!
